About Us

A Little About Us

Meet the Verheggen family—Mike, Tammy, and their kids, Gavin and Ziva.
Mike grew up in the small village of Nes aan de Amstel near Amsterdam, and Tammy is from Canada.  Together they enjoyed, living together in the Netherlands for 14 years, and they are ready for a new adventure.

Harry and Peter are also up for a new challenge. Harry comes from Strijen, Peter from Amstelveen, and they’ve made their home together in Aalsmeer for the last ten years. The whole group has known each other for about twelve years, and Mike and Peter have been friends since they were ten.

Now we’re all heading off together on a new adventure in France. We can’t wait to share the experience with you.

What Others Are Saying

Above all the park is a destination to explore at a slow pace, absorbing the atmosphere and appreciating the little things that make Morvan so special - walking through the woodlands, finding a path that comes across a small waterfall, that little village clustered around a village church...
The locals like to say that the Morvan is the green lung of Burgundy. This granite mountain range, which peaks at 900 metres, is the closest mountainous area to Paris, less than 3 hours from the capital. It is home to some remarkable species and is covered with lakes and forests. This area has been protected under the Regional Natural Park status since 1970 and visitors might just catch a glimpse of the kingfishers, grey herons and deer who have taken refuge here.
It's already a legend throughout France, but it's particularly well-known that Burgundy is synonymous with gastronomic heritage. Indeed, we are fortunate to have vast agricultural, wine-growing, and livestock-raising lands thanks to the climate, geography, and natural resources of the region.
